Let’s face the urgent community need for affordable housing and homelessness support with FAITH … HOPE … and RESILIENCE.

LET’S FACE IT TOGETHER. When we join forces as a community, we can ensure more local children have a stable roof overhead and a warm bed to sleep in at night.

In the last program year, Families Together served 478 children and 239 adults for a total of 717 individuals in 196 families. Of that number, we helped 88 families obtain permanent housing and provided short-term/emergency housing for 23 families.

Shelter Expansion

Expand our Emergency Shelter from six to ten family units and prevent separation of families with a father or older male child when entering traditional shelters.

Housing Renovations

Expand our Affordable Housing portfolio to 21 units with the renovation of a duplex and triplex in west Raleigh that will become interim housing for five families.

Cottage Court Development

Plan a development of up to 11 homes on FT-owned land to create affordable housing for families transitioning out of homelessness.
