More Children Endure Homelessness Every Day in Wake County

Children experiencing homelessness are…

Together, We Can End Child Homelessness.

Our mission is to help Wake County families with children move from homelessness to stable homes and sustainable housing.

Your special donation can truly change lives for the better by:

  • Keeping families together – alleviating a child’s fear of being separated from their parents while housing is secured.

  • Changing a child’s life – connecting families to permanent housingand creating a lasting, multi-generational impact.

  • Creating and sustaining shelter beds – expanding our unique family shelter from 36 to 86 beds.

  • Utilizing funds wisely – investing in a Platinum-rated (GuideStar), high-impact organization.

  • Leveraging strategic partnerships – optimizing our housing expertise through creative collaboration that makes a greater community impact.

  • Reaching more families – offering emergency housing, innovative solutions, and ongoing holistic support. Last year we served 501 children in 225 families.

Your support is pivotal in addressing the immediate crisis and helping children and their families achieve a brighter future.

Together, we can make a significant impact and provide the hope that begins with a home.

A Special Note About Western NC

As a non-profit crisis responder organization, our hearts go out to the communities in Western North Carolina and beyond that have been deeply affected by the devastation of Hurricane Helene. We extend our deepest sympathies to the individuals and families who have lost so much, and to our sister agencies working tirelessly on the ground to provide relief and support.

In times like these, the strength of our collective response is critical. We stand in solidarity with the local and regional agencies in the area as they work to provide food, shelter, and vital services to those in need. Together, we are committed to ensuring that no one faces this crisis alone.

For those looking to contribute, here’s how you can help:

  • Donate to local relief efforts.

  • Volunteer with trusted organizations.
